"MOULTON WAR MEMORIAL"

To the eternal memory of the men of MOULTON who died in the service of their country
Eighteen in the Great War of 1914-1919 and seven in 1939-1945 and one in the Korean War 1950-1953






On the left hand side of the path to the church of St.Peter in Brookside, Moulton is a Portland stone cross pattee ( the cross on a three stepped base). The cross itself is pattee Cross upon a slender octagonal pillar. Unveiled on 23rd May 1920 by Lieutenant R.T.Robins, it was constructed by builders W.J.Nutty

The inscription on the front face of the plinth reads:-
